Process

I gave materials a second chance.

The creative process begins as I discover and save materials. I am consistently astonished by the quantity and quality of discarded fabrics and clothes that I find in my neighbourhood or on my journeys.

Ethical and environmental values guide every step of my design and production. I am inspired and driven in the first instance by the incredible and varied salvaged materials I find. They fuel my imagination. Their individual stories and characters drive their own new ideas and purpose- rather then any pre-determined design that I may want to produce.
